Aspen restaurant: Annette’s Mountain Bake Shop

Annette’s Mountain Bake Shop is a tiny bit of paradise on the Aspen Hyman mall.

And, we do mean tiny.
If you see a line out the door, join it. There’s only room for a couple of customers inside.

On Annette’s baking racks you will find warm pastries, scones, breads, croissants, cookies and assorted breads.

The scones are heavenly – a perfect blend – crumbly, not too sweet & tender.

Blueberry muffins are moist, just sweet enough & amply stuffed with blueberries.

Everything is made on site and the offerings vary daily.

Not just a destination for sweets and pastries, Annette’s also creates salads & gourmet sandwiches, with the sandwiches made from fresh ingredients & homemade, artisan bread.

Check the chalkboard on the way in for daily specials & if in doubt, get the secret sandwich – a creation of Italian meats and olive tapenade on ciabatta bread.
