The biggest little city in the world
After leaving the bike race in Sonora, we decided to head to Reno.
We’d never been to Reno and some quick research revealed they have dog-friendly casino hotels, which is great. The casinos in Vegas don’t allow dogs – primarily because you generally have to walk through the casino to get to the elevator for the hotel, and they don’t allow dogs in the casino.
Downtown Reno is a lot like downtown Vegas. The rooms are remarkably inexpensive and surprisingly nice for the price. Our room at Harrah’s was $59, and that included the dog package fee.
Not sure if we are just getting lucky or what, but everywhere we eat the food is really, really good.
