Countdown to the Tour of Utah

Where are we?  In Ogden, Utah of course, where the Tour of Utah will be underway in less than 48 hours!

Tour of Utah 2012

The Tour of Utah is a six stage race that covers 543 miles over six days with cyclists from 17 teams climbing through some of Utah’s most beautiful and challenging terrain in the Rocky Mountain’s Wasatch Range.

What’s in store for the next week?

Tuesday Aug 7: Stage 1 begins in Ogden at 10:15 and 131 miles & 4 KOMs later, finishes in downtown Ogden. Get Stage 1 details here >>

Wednesday, Aug 8: Stage 2 is a Team Time Trial at Miller Motorsports Park in Toele beginning at 12:15pm Get Stage 2 details here >>

Thursday, Aug 9: Stage 3 begins in Ogden at 12:15 and rolls into the University of Utah Research Park in Salt Lake City 85 miles later

Friday, Aug 10: Stage 4 is a long 134 mile day starting in Lehi at 10:15 and finishing in downtown Salt Lake City

Saturday, Aug 11: Stage 5 starts in Newpark Town Center in Park City at 11:10 and winds through the mountains with 10,000 feet of elevation gain to finish at Snowbird Ski Resort.
